Automatic Bluetooth® communication with the testo Smart App allows for fast data transfer and real-time analysis. The set includes the testo 550s Bluetooth electronic valve handle with a 2-way valve battery, two cable-mounted clamp temperature probes (NTC), and a practical carrying case. This allows you to start measurements immediately for commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pump systems. Additional Bluetooth probes, e.g., for wireless vacuum measurements using the testo 552i, can be ordered separately, increasing the versatility of the set.

The electronic valve handle enables temperature measurement from -50 to +150 °C with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C and a resolution of 0.1 °C, using 2 x plug-in (NTC) connections. Pressure measurement covers a range of -1 to 60 bar, with an accuracy of ±0.5 % of full scale and a resolution of 0.01 bar, connected via 3 x 7/16" – UNF, with high-pressure accuracy up to 65 bar. The device weighs 826 g, its dimensions are 210 x 121 x 60 mm, and the operating temperature ranges from -20 to +50 °C.

The set is compatible with iOS 11.0 or later and Android 6.0 or later, requiring a mobile device with Bluetooth 4.0. Battery life lasts up to 250 h without illumination and Bluetooth® or 100 h with illumination and Bluetooth® active. The device supports a wide range of refrigerants, including R134a, R410A, R32, R744 (CO₂), and many others, with refrigerant updates possible via the mobile app. Storage temperature ranges from -20 to +60 °C, and the IP54 protection class ensures full protection during transport and operation in demanding conditions.
