The compact Testo 417 vane anemometer is designed to greatly simplify air velocity and flow measurements at supply and exhaust outlets in air conditioning and ventilation systems. Its integrated 100 mm vane probe enables fast and precise readings.
The device automatically calculates and displays time-averaged and point-averaged values, as well as volumetric flow rate. This allows for highly efficient adjustment of balanced ventilation systems in residential buildings — with quick documentation via the Testo Smart App.
The app not only assists users with configuring the instrument, visualizing, saving, and documenting measurement results, but also allows a smartphone to be used as a second display.
Testo 417 Set 2 includes two measurement funnels and a flow straightener, enabling accurate measurements on ventilation grilles and air diffusers — even in cases of turbulent or distorted airflow.
