REFRIGERANT R-513A [PRIMARY] 11 kg

Chemical composition: 56% R1234yf, 44% R134a

R513A is a liquefied gas under pressure, being a non-flammable azeotropic mixture. It was developed as a substitute for refrigerant R134a and can be used both in existing installations and in new systems designed specifically for this refrigerant. It is widely used in medium- and high-temperature refrigeration. It is used, among others, in commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller units, and heat pumps.

 

Advantages of the refrigerant R513A

  • Low environmental impact – with a GWP of only 573, representing a 56% reduction compared to R134a.

  • High efficiency – operating parameters similar to R134a, suitable for both new installations and upgrades of existing systems.

  • Temperature stability – R513A is an azeotropic mixture, meaning there is no temperature glide during phase change.

  • User safety – classified as A1 according to ASHRAE, meaning it is non-flammable and safe to use.

  • Industry-approved – accepted by leading manufacturers of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and components.

  • Compatibility with existing infrastructure – can be used in systems operating on R134a without the need to replace the entire installation (equipment, oil, etc.).

Purpose
The refrigerant R513A was developed specifically for refrigeration systems designed for its use, but it also performs well as a substitute for systems previously operating on R134a. However, during conversion, it may be necessary to replace the oil and adjust or replace certain components according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
