CASTOLIN EUTECTIC ALU FLAM 198 FCW L2000 – ALUMINUM BRAZING ALLOY 2MM 515756

The specialized flux-cored solder wire is designed for soldering aluminum and its alloys with low magnesium and manganese content. It allows the creation of durable joints in mechanical parts, automotive components, heat exchangers, and refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, with a low hard-soldering temperature (Tl = 445 °C).

The wire contains flux that remains in the joint, protecting it against corrosion. When soldering aluminum to copper, additional protection with a heat-shrink sleeve is recommended to prevent galvanic corrosion. The flux ensures precise filling of the joint with minimal solder consumption.

The product features stable melting, providing reliable and durable connections. Its composition allows for quick and effective joint filling and facilitates repair of damaged components as well as the creation of high-quality new joints.

Basic knowledge of aluminum soldering is sufficient to use this wire effectively. It enables efficient joining of aluminum, its alloys, and copper, simplifying service and production work in the refrigeration, automotive, and electrical industries.
