REFRIGERANT R-454C ( XL20) [PRIMARY] 10 kg.

 

R-454C (Opteon XL20) is a modern refrigerant developed by Chemours, consisting of a blend of R-32 (21.5%) and R-1234yf (78.5%). It features a low GWP value of 146 and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). It was designed as a replacement for R-410A and R-22 refrigerants, intended for new refrigeration equipment.

R-454C offers performance comparable to the refrigerants it replaces, and its implementation is simple and cost-effective, as it does not require significant changes to equipment design.

As a mildly flammable refrigerant (A2L classification), R-454C allows for the use of larger amounts compared to other more flammable refrigerants, enabling safe operation in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

R-454C is used in low- and medium-temperature refrigeration systems in the commercial and industrial sectors that previously used R-404A or R-22. It performs well in supermarkets (distributed systems, refrigerators, freezers, preparation rooms), condensing units, and cold storage facilities. It is ideal for hermetic refrigeration systems.
