CASTOLIN EUTECTIC FLAM RB 5286 – SILVER BRAZING ALLOY AG 5% 2 MM CU 754815

The Cu Flam RB 5286 soldering alloy with 5% silver is designed for flux-free soldering of copper. It features stable melting, good flow, and enhanced ductility, allowing high-quality and durable joints with optimal material usage.

It can also be used for soldering copper alloys, such as brass; however, in such cases, the Cu Flux 5000FX flux must be applied. An additional copper flux can speed up the process. Residues of the flux should be removed by rinsing with water and cleaning with a brass brush or other suitable cleaner.

The alloy is recommended for joints exposed to vibration, mechanical stress, and temperature changes due to its increased ductility. It is ideal for refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump installations, particularly for pipes up to 15 mm in diameter.

The solder is supplied in stick form with markings for easy identification of the correct alloy. Fast bonding with copper enhances joint safety and tightness, while controlled melting reduces material consumption.
